About CalcHub
CalcHub publishes free finance and insurance calculators with one rule: show the math. Every tool explains the formula it uses, states its assumptions plainly, and points you to a licensed professional for decisions that depend on your full situation.
Our editorial standard
Money topics fall under what Google calls “Your Money or Your Life”— content that can materially affect a person’s finances. We hold these pages to a higher bar than a typical web utility:
- Transparency. The exact formula behind each result is documented on the page. No black boxes.
- Honest framing. Results are labeled as educational estimates, never as advice, quotes, or recommendations.
- No lead-gen.We don’t collect your personal details, sell your information, or route you to lenders. The site is funded by standard display advertising only.
- Stated assumptions. Where a calculation simplifies reality (ignoring taxes, fees, or rate changes), we say so.
How the calculators are built
Each calculator uses standard, widely-published financial formulas — the same amortization and compound-growth math used by banks and spreadsheets. Computation happens entirely in your browser; nothing you type is sent to a server.
Who maintains this
CalcHub is maintained by The CalcHub editorial team. Found an error in a formula or a confusing explanation? That feedback is exactly what keeps these tools trustworthy — corrections are prioritized.
Not financial advice
Nothing on CalcHub is financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. The calculators are general educational tools. Before acting on any number you see here, consult a qualified, licensed professional who can account for your complete circumstances.
